BLOGMAS: Here Is My Christmas Playlist.

Today you will learn of my most loved Christmas tunes. Hopefully, some of them will make it to your Christmas playlist.

I am a lover of Christmas songs. I started disturbing my family by singing Christmas songs in November.

I won't say the same about Christmas songs four years ago. I used to think Christmas songs were exhausting. Don’t ask me where I got that idea from because I don’t know.

Thanks to some Christmas songs that changed my perceptions about this kind of song, a lot has changed.

Today you will get the inside scoop into my Christmas playlist.

PROCLAIM MKC

This group comprises mostly youngsters; I believe they are the children choir of proclaiming Africa in Uganda.

The children's choirs performed the magic that made me the Christmas song lover I am today.

I found them when I was not searching on Youtube, and I am glad I hit the play button. They made a massive difference for me with their version of "Mary, Did You Know?"

PENTATONIX

Pentatonix is an acapella group. They are a three-times Grammy® Award-winning and multi-Platinum-selling group. They've sold about 10 million albums worldwide and have performed for a vast number of fans at their mostly sold-out shows all over the globe.

The group comprises Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin "K.O." Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Today I am a major enthusiast of Christmas songs thanks to this music group.

I got introduced to their songs while I was busy breaking the play buttons of Proclaim MKC.  I am sure you know how YouTube works.

Ever since I’ve shared the Pentatonix Christmas song with lots of my friends and family.

MARIAH CAREY

“Maria Carey is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She is known for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, and signature use of the whistle register. She is referred to as the ‘Songbird Supreme’ by Guinness World Records.” - Wikipedia.
.
I had to quote Wikipedia because I am not sure there is a better way to describe her.

She has a lot of work dedicated to Christmas, and they are all amazing. I will link as many as I can.

Her latest work is, “Oh, Santa!”  The official music video features Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, and it premiered on Dec. 3, 2020, on Youtube.

My favorite part of “Oh Santa!” was Mimi and Ari's double whistle. The vocals were heavenly.
