Why Partnership with God is the Secret to an Effortless 2021
Before I hit you with what I do and encourage you to be a part of it, I want to state that I am a Christian. Everything I share today will be delivered through the lens of a firm believer in Jesus Christ. December is the last month; this means we are on a path to a new start.
I firmly believe every great thing is a result of proper planning and investment. I see December as the time to start planning and investing in the new year. Many people wait until January 1st to think about their lives, but the true preparation happens now, in the quiet moments of the year's end.
Why is this important?
I am a spiritual being in human form. The closer I get to God, the more it becomes clear I am not just a pretty face. There is more to life than continually pursuing money, fame, or luxury that I can’t take once I die. What is the point of gathering everything and showing off?
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul?"

I am limited. Educational background, influential friends, and exposure can take me only so far. However, letting Jesus take the wheel is a guarantee that I can face tomorrow. How great is it to be in partnership with one who knows the end before the beginning?
Planning in Partnership
He that fails to plan is planning to fail. Planning is a thing most people don't do, and those who do often fixate on their own predictions. Very few people make their plans in partnership with God. I hate stress—why do I have to learn the hard way or make lots of mistakes before I finally get it right?
With God, I am in for a smooth ride. It is only a foolish man who picks working hard over working smart.

Waiting on the Lord
Amidst the workload December places on me, I take out time to wait on the Lord. You will find me reaching out to the less privileged, bringing a smile to someone’s face, connecting more people to Jesus, and asking the Holy Spirit to be my driver throughout the coming year.

- Protection: Most high God, be our guide and be my protector now and throughout 2021, in Jesus' name. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
- Wisdom: Creator of Heaven and Earth, baptize me with your wisdom, in Jesus’ name. (Proverbs 29:11, Proverbs 1:7)
- Peace in the Home: There shall be no weeping in my household, in the name of Jesus. (Exodus 12)
